Student Works

Workshops
Discover your unique individuality while learning how to use form, and
color to create an impressionistic or realistic painting. The students learn
how to create a three dimensional illusion on a two dimensional page.
Creative Problem Solving
Creative problem solving is taught so the painter learns how to“approach” the start of a painting.
Brushstrokes “A learning experience in self discovery”
Learn the impact brushstrokes, or “mark making, has on painting itself
and the juxtaposition on the marks that surround the brushstroke.
The psychology of color and the impression each stroke, color and form
has on our psyche is emphasized. How do we create an image that can
elicit emotion from the viewer. Is our message being conveyed? These
are questions that will be addressed and answered. Through the manipulation
of light we will create images that have the desired effect upon
the viewer.
What is your creative power?
Gerber’s a workshops have been developed to help the student achieve
the necessary technical
skills ecessary to achieve artistic excellence.
His workshops and progressive courses are individually and uniquely
designed to nurture the artistic ability inherent in all of us. If you have
the desire he can teach you to draw and paint.
Gerber believes everyone has the ability to learn art. If the individual
has the desire it is the educators job to motivate and help the student
realize their artistic potential.
“I have a developed a unique teaching method of teaching art. The students
learn how to draw, paint, think and conceptualize. They learn how
to express themselves through art...art as a form of communication.
My method is development of visual acuity perception and communication."
